Just a quick post to direct your attention to this month’s contest. I’ve described the hero Darius Shaw of Not Quite a Courtesan in Brava’s Lords of Passion (November 30) as an “adventurer.” What do you think he does? Guess away and I’ll post an excerpt on the Books page in August after I get back from RWA and send a randomly selected winner the beautiful coverflat, a signed copy of Mistress by Mistake (or Margaret Rowe’s Tempting Eden if you prefer) and some other goodies. A Margaret Rowe contest will be posted soon too!
It is a million degrees here in Maine. Stay cool and happy reading.

Whoo Hoo!! Have fun at RWA. I’ll make it someday, perhaps next year.
My ultimate adventurer is a pirate. I can only imagine if Darius was heir to a title but wanted a bit of fun first before “settling in”, I would think he’d head out to sea, plunder, cross the continent like any randy gentleman. hehehe
Thank you for the contest!
I’m guessing an archeologist. 🙂 Can’t wait to see you at Nationals!
I’ll enter you both in the contest. So far respondents seem to think Darius is a pirate, which makes me think I should write a pirate story. 😉 If I knew one damn thing about boats I might.
Gillian, I’ll be looking for you! I’ll be the one sweating in the corner.
